Collateral Damage: Mexican nationals enrich city's culture, economy

The editor of the San Antonio (Texas) Express-News looks at the economic benefits to his city that come from the influx of wealth Mexicans fleeing the "collateral damage" of the drug war. Americans always look at the positive side. 

Mexican nationals enrich city's culture, economy: "For all the debate about Mexican nationals here illegally who take the lowest-paying jobs in the labor market, the more important truth is that the culture and economy of this city benefit enormously from the legal influx of middle-class and wealthy Mexicans — people with the education, drive and resources to replicate the good life enjoyed at home."
