From the Mexican newspaper, 'Excelsior'

U.S. Authorities Should Be Punished for 'Fast and Furious': Excelsior, Mexico: "The activities of the U.S. gun-trafficking cartels, in addition to inciting uncontrollable violence in Mexico, are also increasingly weakening the Mexican government. … Mexico should not only turn to international authorities to demand punishment for those responsible for Fast and Furious, but should demand action on the part of the Obama government against gun traffickers, be they North Americans or Mexicans.'"
The MexicoBlog of the Americas Program, a fiscally sponsored program of the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR), is written by Laura Carlsen. I monitor and analyze international press on Mexico, with a focus on security, immigration, human rights and social movements for peace and justice, from a feminist perspective. And sometimes I simply muse.
