Collateral Damage: Officials investigating Mexico massacre 'found dead'

The police and justice systems of Mexico were already seriously compromised before Caldéron declared his U.S. supported war on drugs. Now those officials seeking to carryout real investigations are assassinated. A state cannnot function under such conditions. When will the U.S. government recognize this?

Officials investigating Mexico massacre 'found dead'-BBC News: "The authorities in Mexico say they believe they have found the bodies of two officials investigating the killing of 72 foreign migrants last month. Prosecutor Roberto Suarez Vazquez and Juan Carlos Suarez Sanchez, a top security official, went missing two weeks ago in the state of Tamaulipas." Sept. 8, 2010
