AFP: Mexico searching for body of drug lord: "Mexican authorities Saturday were searching the mountains of western Michoacan state for the body of drug lord Nazario Moreno, to confirm that he was killed earlier this week during a shootout with police.

Also known as 'El Chayo' or 'The Doctor,' Moreno is said to be the boss of the La Familia cartel and is on Mexico's most-wanted list with a 2.4 million dollar bounty on his head. The government said he was killed Thursday during a police attack on his stronghold in Apatzingan, but his body was never found."
