Collateral Damage: Mexico has had 34,612 drug war deaths, 15,273 in 2010

The number of those killed keeps going up. This total is some 4,000 more than previously stated by the Mexican government.

Such killings jumped sharply in 2010 to reach 15,273 drug-related killings. The figure for 2009 was 9,616 deaths. ...
