Call for immigration reform not likely to be answered | Houston Chronicle: "President Barack Obama reiterated his call Tuesday for lawmakers to debate and pass comprehensive immigration reform, but his brief remarks amounted to a concession that the issue remains an uphill battle in Congress.

'I know that debate will be difficult and take time, but tonight, let's agree to make that effort,' Obama said in his State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress.
