Omaha senator offers alternative to illegal immigration bill: "Omaha Sen. Brenda Council believes there's a better way to approach the illegal immigration issue.

'We must adopt a humane approach to this reality, reflecting our values, history and spirit of inclusion,' the resolution reads. 'The way we treat immigrants will say more about us as a society and less about our immigrant neighbors.'
