Whack-a-mole Drug War: FBI director says he’s concerned about violence in Mexico

The whack-a-mole drug warriors on both sides of the border say they are working together.

FBI director says he’s concerned about violence in Mexico | 89.3 KPCC: "The director of the FBI says he’s concerned about drug cartel-fueled violence in Mexico. ...

Mueller says the possibility of drug and gang-related violence crossing the border and bleeding into the United States has been a concern for a while now. He says the FBI has been trying to provide support to law enforcement south of the border.

'We ourselves in the FBI have put together an intelligence entity that pulls together intelligence from the northern side of ... the border, ... and coordinates and disseminates that intelligence to our counterparts south of the border,' Mueller says.

Mueller says the FBI also has an office in Mexico City, which enables the bureau to work with Mexican law enforcement officials." Jan. 5, 2011, Southern California Public Radio
