Arizona lawmakers move on immigration | Phoenix Business Journal: "A series of measures aimed at making it more difficult for illegal immigrants to find jobs and housing got preliminary approval in the Arizona Senate Monday...
Public housing applicants would have to prove they are U.S citizens or legal residents under one of the bills, while the second would prevent people without proof of legal residency from getting state fingerprint cards, needed for many work permits.
The two measures are likely to be part of a broader bill to be considered later this week."
