Mexican Senate confirms country's 1st woman AG - Fox News Latino: "Prosecutor Marisela Morales became Mexico's first woman attorney general Thursday after the Senate confirmed her in a vote of 84-15 with seven abstentions.
'In the name of the Senate, I wish you success in your duties,' the upper house's president, Manlio Fabio Beltrones, told Morales after the vote.
Morales, until now the head of the organized-crime division in the AG's office, replaces Arturo Chavez Chavez, who last week submitted his resignation to President Felipe Calderon."
