Immigration Politics: Editorial - Obama’s great, and disappointing, speech

From San Diego, California - a city that knows about immigration and the border with Mexico - an editorial

Obama’s great, and disappointing, speech - SignOnSanDiego.com: "What disappoints is that, other than supporting a new attempt to pass the Dream Act, Obama said nothing about drafting legislation that could be the basis for congressional action. He jabbed at Republican opposition but made no mention of Democrats who oppose comprehensive reform and no outreach to GOP leaders he will need. And he laid out no timetable for action.

The question, Obama said in El Paso, is “will we summon the political will to do something” on immigration reform?

Right again. That is the question."
