Drug War: Americans can no longer ignore role in ongoing Mexican drug war

Another voice speaks to the basic realities of the drug war. "Recently, in the aftermath of the gruesome deaths of more than 50 people at the hands of the drug lords in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexican President Felipe Calderón said: "We're neighbors, we're allies, we're friends. But you are also responsible."

By "you," Calderón meant Americans, and though many Americans might reject the claim, he is correct."
