Drug War: Police Commander Murdered in Saltillo, Coahuila

After a major corruption scandal was unveiled by the Attorney General's Office in Saltillo, police commander is gunned down in the same city. 

El Universal- "A police officer in Saltillo was attacked by armed gunmen at the top of the road El Sarape, reported the Coahuila Attorney General's Office (FGEC).

The Attorney General's Office indicated that the victim was identified as commander Marcial Barron, who died from multiple gunshot wounds around 7:30AM.

The authorities launched a wide search for the gunmen in the area, totally shutting down the road east of the city. It is one of the major traffic routes in Saltillo." Full Spanish original
