Bloomberg: "Mexican presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, who narrowly lost to Felipe Calderon in the 2006 election, gained in the latest opinion poll before the July vote.
Support for Lopez Obrador, from the Party of the Democratic Revolution, rose to 17 percent in the poll published yesterday by Grupo Economistas Asociados-ISA, up from 13 percent on April 1. He remains in third place behind Josefina Vazquez Mota of the National Action Party and front runner Enrique Pena Nieto of the Institutional Revolutionary Party.
Vazquez Mota dropped to 18 percent in the survey down from 21 percent, while backing for Pena Nieto rose to 39 percent support from 36 percent. The presidential campaign officially began March 30." read more
