The News: The National Migration Institute (INM) announced over the weekend that it is ready to receive Mexicans living in the United States traveling together in caravans to visit their families in states throughout Mexico.
As part of Operation Winter of the 2014 Civilian Program, the institute will be prepared to receive one of the biggest caravans on Dec. 18, leaving from Laredo, Texas the same day and crossing into Tamaulipas on Dec. 19. The caravan from the United States is expected to include 250 vehicles and around 1,000 Mexican nationals. Read more.
