Population Up 25 Million or So - NYTimes.com: "Hispanics accounted for all the growth in the youth population in the last decade. In 2000, Hispanics made up 17 percent of the population under age 20. They now represent 22 percent to 25 percent of that age group. Without Hispanics, the number of young people in the United States would have declined between 2000 and 2010." Dec. 6, 2010
